After the dust settled around the NFL in Week 17, the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins have had their upcoming matchup dubbed as a prime-time caliber contest.
The league has announced the upcoming schedules for team’s around the NFL in Week 18. Prior to it when the schedule is released in the spring, all season finales have their kickoff times as “to be determined.”
Because of the ramifications at stake between the Bills (10-6) and Dolphins (11-5), the league offices have decided that it’s fit for Sunday Night Football.
Buffalo’s visit to Miami is set for an 8:25 p.m. kickoff on Sunday, Jan. 7.
The Bills topped the New England Patriots by a 27-21 final. Meanwhile, the Dolphins were blown out by the Baltimore Ravens in a 56-19 game.
Earlier this season, Buffalo topped Miami by a 48-20 score at Highmark Stadium. That means if the Bills beat the Dolphins again, they’ll take the season series and have the tiebreaker for the AFC East crown. Buffalo has won it the past three years.
