The 6-foot, 190-pound defensive back had a breakout game against the Missouri Tigers in 2023. Humphrey, who has excellent speed, announced his intentions to return via social media (Warning: Strong language is used in post).

Humphrey suffered a shoulder injury against the Ole Miss Rebels on Nov. 11 and has not returned. Humphrey missed the Orange Bowl, but should be able to return in time for the 2024 season.

Humphrey is arguably Georgia’s top returning cover cornerback. He recorded 11 tackles and two pass deflections in 2023. Humphrey and Daylen Everette are projected (way-too-early) to start at cornerback for Georgia in 2024. The Bulldogs are also returning cornerback Daniel Harris.
