Following an impressive four years at Florida State, linebacker DJ Lundy announced Monday that he’s heading west to Colorado for his final year of college eligibility.
The 6-foot-1, 244-pound transfer owns 170 career total tackles, including 14 TFLs. This past season, he ranked third on the team with 54 total tackles. He also had two sacks and four passes defended for a Florida State team that went undefeated.
According to Pro Football Focus College, Lundy’s 91.3 run defense grade in 2023 ranked first among all linebackers.
Lundy is the first transfer linebacker to join the Buffs this offseason. In total, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has picked up 18 transfer commitments.
