At the start of the regular season, there were only five teams that had worse odds to win the Super Bowl than the Los Angeles Rams. For most of the year, that looked perfectly reasonable after the team started 3-6 and looked out of playoff contention.
Thanks to their recent 5-1 stretch, the Rams are in position to not only make the postseason, but potentially make some noise in a conference that’s looking shakier by the week. After beating the New Orleans Saints on Saturday night, the Rams now have a 72% chance to make the playoffs, according to the New York Times.
Their playoff odds sit at +6600 at BetMGM, tied with the Houston Texans for the 12th-best of any team. That’s only an implied probability of 1.5%, but it was even worse before Week 1 and at midseason.

If you were to bet $100 on the Rams to win the Super Bowl, it would net a profit of $6,600. So if you’re feeling confident that Matthew Stafford could lead Los Angeles on a postseason run, it’s not a bad bet.
The 49ers have the best odds of any team at +220, followed by the Ravens (+550), Chiefs (+650), Dolphins (+800) and Eagles (+800). The Seahawks surprisingly have better odds than the Rams, coming in at +6000 to win it all.
