The Buffalo Bills won’t have DaQuan Jones in the lineup against the Los Angeles Chargers. But the defensive tackle will soon return.
The Bills (8-6) designated Jones to return from injured reserve this week. Head coach Sean McDermott indicated Jones will not play in Los Angeles (5-9), but after that his return is possible.
McDermott also gave more of his usual assessment of injury. The team will give it “one day at a time,” and so on.
In terms of Jones himself, he did a bit of the same. The defender beat around the bush when asked when he could possibly return from his pectoral injury. But he did sound positive.
“Feeling pretty dang good,” Jones said. “Over the past couple weeks and months I’ve been busting my tail in the training room.”
