The Oregon Ducks were once again one of the biggest winners of the early signing period, getting 25 recruits in the 2024 class to put pen to paper and flipping a pair of blue-chip recruits away from rivals Ohio State and USC.
Dan Lanning signed the best recruiting class in school history, surpassing the mark set by Mario Cristobal in 2021. There’s a chance the class gets better.
Four-star defensive lineman Jericho Johnson plans to announce his commitment on Thursday, and the Ducks are a heavy favorite. Oregon is also recruiting four-star wide receiver Gatlin Bair with great persistence, though he does not plan to announce his commitment until national signing day in February.
