Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase technically led the team in receiving entering the fourth quarter of the game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Chase, however, apparently suffered a shoulder injury at some point because the team announced that he was questionable to return due to the issue.
Before that declaration, Chase had caught all four of his targets for 64 yards. It took little time at all for the team to then update his status to out.
Rookie Charlie Jones also suffered an injury on a punt return around the same time, so Trenton Irwin and rookie Andrei Iosivas will take up those snaps in the base offense.
Chase has been ruled out. https://t.co/ECagAj2j3F
