Kadrius Toney has finally reflected on his huge impact on the end of Week 14’s Bills-Chiefs matchup.
The Bills beat the Chiefs, 20-17, but not without controversy. Toney lined up offside on a play that eventually went down as a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter.
The Chiefs ended up freaking out about it. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes melted down on the sideline. Even their head coach, Andy Reid, called the penalty “embarrassing” for the NFL.
In the days since, both have taken a step back from their initial comments. However, we never heard from the man at the center of what happened… until now.
Toney spoke on his penalty and said he was never given any sort of warning, calling the flag for being offside “small.”
