Browns Injury Alert: DE Ogbo Okoronkwo goes down in first quarter vs. Jaguars

The Browns are down another defender.

The Cleveland Browns are already severely hampered by injuries as they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both cornerback Denzel Ward and safety Juan Thornhill were game-time scratches heading into the game, and now defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo has exited the game in the first quarter.

There has been no disclosure yet as to what his injury was that forced him off the field. He is the second Browns player to leave the field already in this game as center Ethan Pocic has already found his way to the locker room as well.

Somehow sitting at 7-5 on the season despite losing their starting quarterback, running back, left tackle, right tackle, and plenty more, the injuries have not slowed down for the Browns. Luckily for the Browns, the Jaguars enter this game just as banged-up as them in this Week 14 matchup.

We will continue to update you on the status of Okoronkwo and other injuries that take place during today’s game.

UPDATE: Okoronkwo has returned to the game.
