The Bucs were razor-thin at linebacker heading into this game, and it only got worse in the first quarter.
Bucs LB K.J. Britt, one of the team’s backups starting in lieu of injuries to Lavonte David and Devin White, was injured in the first quarter. The injury was reported as a back injury, and he was carted off the sideline and taken to the locker room — the team then ruled him out for the remainder of the contest.
In his stead, safety Ryan Neal is currently playing linebacker and Dee Delaney has shifted over to his safety spot. He plays alongside Bucs LB J.J. Russell.
