Gregg Popovich on Spurs loss to Pacers: ‘They kicked our butts’

After the San Antonio Spurs’ brutal loss to the Indiana Pacers, Gregg Popovich kept it real.

The San Antonio Spurs suffered their worst loss of the season on Monday night, falling 152-111 to the Indiana Pacers in one of the biggest blowouts of the year. Tyrese Haliburton and company took it to the Spurs from the jump, completely overwhelming a young San Antonio team looking to exceed expectations.

Star rookie Victor Wembanyama was held to just 13 points on 3-of-12 shooting from the floor and 2-of-5 shooting from deep while the rest of the lineup struggled around him. Keldon Johnson and Zach Collins were the only two players who showed any sort of consistency, according to head coach Gregg Popovich.
