Following a win from the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, star running back Isiah Pacheco returned to the field to sign autographs nearly two hours after the game was over. It was a moment of appreciation from Pacheco, a former Rutgers football standout, to acknowledge the NFL’s fanbase in Europe.
Pacheco, a seventh-round pick out of Rutgers in the 2022 NFL draft, had 66 rushing yards on 16 carries in the Chiefs’ win.
Sunday’s 21-14 win by the Chiefs over the Miami Dolphins was played in Frankfurt, Germany. The passionate and growing fanbase in Europe has supported these games well, and Germany in particular has developed an appreciation for the American version of football.
So Pacheco’s gesture of stopping by and signing autographs for fans well after the game was over was a nice gesture as the league looks to expand its footprint globally.
AWESOME: Nearly two hours after today’s game-ending #Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco is still out here signing gear and taking photos with fans in Germany knowing they don’t get to see the #NFL that often

Pacheco leads Kansas City with 525 rushing yards and is well on his way to eclipse his rushing total as a rookie. His 24 receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown have already bettered his receiving total from a year ago.

On Saturday, his alma mater put together a credible performance, as Rutgers held a halftime lead on No. 1 Ohio State before falling 31-16.
