The Denver Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 24-9 on Sunday, giving the team positive momentum going into their bye week.
While the win is certainly good for team morale and it helps their (slim) chances of getting back into the playoff hunt, it also hurts Denver’s draft position. Before beating the Chiefs, the Broncos were on pace to secure the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
After beating Kansas City, Denver has dropped down to ninth in the current order of picks for 2024. Here’s a look at the order for the top ten picks in next year’s draft as of Week 8, courtesy of Tankathon.com.
