Purdue had an awful day in its 41-7 loss to Ohio State on Saturday.
The Boilermakers’ kicker Julio Macias had a worse day.
Macias missed his three field-goal attempts, including a 39-yarder, in the rout.
That would be bad enough but what happened during a break in the game piled on big time.
A contest was held and a random Purdue student came on the field to attempt field goals.
He hit from 20, 30 and 40 yards.

Only at Purdue can a student make a 40 yard field goal during a timeout then the actual kicker doink a 39 yarder off the same uprights 10 min later
