Purdue student outkicks Boilermaker kicker in loss to Ohio State

How did a Purdue student make the football team’s kicker look bad?

Purdue had an awful day in its 41-7 loss to Ohio State on Saturday.

The Boilermakers’ kicker Julio Macias had a worse day.

Macias missed his three field-goal attempts, including a 39-yarder, in the rout.

That would be bad enough but what happened during a break in the game piled on big time.

A contest was held and a random Purdue student came on the field to attempt field goals.

He hit from 20, 30 and 40 yards.
