Watch: George Kittle tacks on second TD catch with crafty play vs. Cowboys

The 49ers got tricky on their way to George Kittle’s second touchdown catch of the night against the Cowboys.

After scoring his first touchdown of the season in the first quarter against the Dallas Cowboys, it didn’t take long for George Kittle to tack on his second touchdown of the 2023 campaign.

Following a strong defensive stand near the goal line, Kyle Shanahan went into the lab for a crafty play-call to get his star tight end open. After initially handing the ball to Christian McCaffrey, the ball went from McCafrey to Deebo Samuel back to Purdy.

After the dish to Purdy, the 49ers passer found Kittle streaking down the sideline for his second score of the night against the Cowboys.

Earlier on Sunday, the Detroit Lions scored a touchdown by finding their tight end Sam Laporta in a very similar play call.
