The 49ers on Friday acquired defensive end Randy Gregory and a seventh-round pick from the Broncos in exchange for a sixth-round pick.
It’s the second trade San Francisco has made since the preseason began in August. Here’s an updated look at their slew of draft capital in the 2024 draft:

The 49ers acquired the additional fourth-round pick from the Cowboys in the Trey Lance trade. They’re also projected to have the maximum five compensatory selections.
San Francisco in the Gregory deal acquired an extra seventh-round choice while giving up their own sixth-round pick. The club is still projected to retain a Round 6 selection via the compensatory formula, so they’re still on track to have at least one pick in each round.
