The calendar officially flipped to October which means the games should become more intense. Teams are jockeying for position when it comes to conference title game berths and placement for the College Football Playoffs.
We have the usual suspects with the Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, Michigan Wolverines, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Oklahoma Sooners. A pair of monster names returning to their former glory, Florida State Seminoles and Texas Longhorns.
Week 5 brought some intrigue and Week 6 will give us a rekindled rivalry game in which commissioner Brett Yormark is sure not to attend.
. @Big12Conference commish Brett Yormark is not attending the OU-Texas game, but WILL see those teams 2x this season. (He's already seen OU-Cincy). He knows @GregSankey is going to see OU-Texas and said he should. "That's his future," Yormark told me. "He should support them."
