After months of speculation and rumors about Damian Lillard being traded to the Miami Heat, the Portland Trail Blazers made headlines when they traded their star point guard to the Milwaukee Bucks in a blockbuster deal. As part of the deal, Jrue Holiday landed in Portland.
Portland quickly traded the two-time All-Star guard back to the Eastern Conference to the Boston Celtics.
Prior to his move to Boston, rumors surfaced about the Golden State Warriors being a potential landing spot for Holiday. However, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors never entered the Holiday trade conversation.

The Celtics acquired Holiday after trading Robert Williams III, Malcolm Brogdon, a 2024 first-round pick and a 2029 first-round pick to the Blazers.
