Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard had a game he won’t forget in Week 2.
Bernard recorded his first-career interception against the Raiders.
Then he followed that up with might be the best game he might ever play against the Commanders.
In the Bills’ 37-3 win in Week 3, Bernard had another interception, plus a fumble recovery… and two sacks.
And don’t forget who led the team in tackles: Bernard with seven. Easy as that.
Everyone was impressed.
“He puts in the time, he prepares,” head coach McDermott said via video conference. “He’s mature beyond his years. And that’s really why he’s had some of the success that he’s had to this point.”
Maybe mature, but a simple man too. It was a good time for Bernard.
“It was fun,” Bernard said. “That’s the name of the game, making plays. So, going out there and doing everything I could to help this team win. I had a great time.”
