The Tennessee Titans made a pair of practice squad elevations ahead of their Week 3 game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon.
The team announced it is elevating defensive lineman Jaleel Johnson and offensive lineman Justin Murray from the practice squad. Both players will revert back to the practice squad after the game.
Murray was elevated last week and is once again serving as extra depth with left guard Peter Skoronski sidelined due to an appendectomy that kept him out of last week’s game, also.
Johnson was signed to the practice squad during the week after spending the offseason with the Titans. He’s depth insurance just in case fellow defensive lineman Denico Autry doesn’t suit up. Autry is listed as questionable due to foot and groin injuries.
Along with Autry, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and cornerback Anthony Kendall are also questionable. Along with Skoronski, wide receiver Kearis Jackson was ruled out and has since been placed on injured reserve.
