Wisconsin travels to West Lafayette, Indiana Friday night for its Big Ten opener against the 1-2 Purdue Boilermakers.
Wisconsin is looking to extend its 16-game win streak against its Big Ten West rival, a win streak which dates back to the 2004 season. Meanwhile, new head coach Ryan Walters is working on establishing Purdue’s place in the new era of Big Ten football.

Traveling on the road for a Friday night game is not an ideal way to start the Big Ten schedule for the Badgers. But in their favor is Purdue’s current form, notably two recent home losses to Fresno State and Syracuse.
