Former Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt recorded his first reception in the National Football League on Sunday.
Hyatt and the Giants defeated Arizona, 31-28, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The former Vol totaled two receptions and 89 receiving yards for New York.
Hyatt played wide receiver at Tennessee from 2020-22, recording 108 receptions, 1,769 receiving yards, 19 receiving touchdowns and averaged 16.4 yards per reception.
Hyatt became the first player in program history to win the Biletnikoff Award. He was a 2022 consensus first-team All-American and a first-team All-SEC selection.
Hyatt holds single-game records for touchdown receptions and points scored after his five-touchdown performance against Alabama in 2022.
