On paper, Week 3 of the college football season didn’t look like it was going to be very exciting where upsets are concerned.
That’s exactly when they do.
Most of the top-ranked teams managed to avoid upsets, but there were a number of lackluster performances by the top teams to allow some change in the US LBM Coaches poll.
The one team that did fall was No. 11 Tennessee, who went to Gainesville and lost to Florida 29-16.
For those directly interested in the big game at Autzen, Oregon has moved up two spots at No. 11, and following their double overtime win over in-state rival Colorado State, Colorado moved up to No. 19 in the nation.
Here is a look at the full US LBM Coaches Poll:

As the wins continue, so does Oregon’s advancement up the coaches poll. Next week is the Pac-12 opener and with No. 19 Colorado in town, millions of eyeballs will be watching the Ducks for the first time this season. A good showing, and a victory of course, could cause Oregon to make a significant jump at this time next week.
