[autotag]Kaulig Racing[/autotag] has been at the center of NASCAR silly season speculation since Justin Haley was announced as a full-time driver for Rick Ware Racing next season. Since that point, it has only grown and now includes A.J. Allmendinger, who may go back to the NASCAR Xfinity Series. However, there should be some clarity coming on Friday afternoon.
According to the media release from NASCAR, Kaulig Racing is scheduled to make an announcement on Friday, September 15 at 1:45 p.m. ET. This will take place at Bristol Motor Speedway and should be related to its NASCAR Cup Series lineup for the 2024 season. As of now, Daniel Hemric is most publicly linked as a “top candidate.”

The No. 31 car has been figured out for several weeks as Kaulig Racing president Chris Rice said it should be a surprise. It remains to be seen if that is the case or if it is something as basic as a call-up for one of the organization’s NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers.
