Jimmy Horn Jr. sees Buffs as ‘America’s Team’

Jimmy Horn Jr. is confident that Colorado has become “America’s Team”

The Colorado Buffaloes are a popular topic in the world of college football, even more so after their opening game victory against TCU.

Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter have only gotten bigger after the thrilling win, and the home opener against Nebraska has everybody talking.

Former USF wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. was on Wednesday asked if the Buffs are “America’s Team”, and he gave an obvious answer (h/t Yahoo Sports).

“It gotta be… We popping right now. We America’s team but there are still doubters out there that want to see us fail.”

The Buffs have certainly stolen national headlines everywhere and that will only continue moving forward.

We’re only two weeks into the college football season, but the Buffs already have Heisman Trophy candidates and are now projected to reach a bowl game. Plus, Coach Prime earned some huge compliments from Jim Harbaugh.

So, it’s safe to say that this just might be America’s Team.
