The Cincinnati Bengals have made a decision at quarterback behind Joe Burrow.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Bengals will sign 2019 third-round pick Will Grier to the practice squad. Grier started two games as a rookie in Carolina and also spent two years with Dallas.
Cincinnati only kept Burrow and Jake Browning on the final 53-man roster, creating the idea that veteran Trevor Siemian could be back on the practice squad.
Instead, the Bengals go outside the building to get a quarterback coaches liked during the draft process a few years ago and Browning will remain the primary backup on game day.
