The Colorado Buffaloes have Jace Feely, the son of former NFL kicker Jay Feely, likely set to take over the placekicking duties this season after Cole Becker entered the transfer portal following the 2022 season.
With the season just a week away, the hype and excitement are at an all-time high in Boulder. On Friday, the elder Feely tweeted out a video of his son connecting on an impressive 62-yard field goal to end a fall camp practice.
The team was pumped up after Feely’s kick and even did a mock interview with him. Feely played last season as a redshirt freshman at Arizona State and appeared in just four games, but now he joins the Buffs as the kicker with a ton of potential, and you can see clearly from this impressive kick.
At the end of the video, you see Feely celebrating with Deion Sanders, and the Buffs head coach gave a hilarious response: “If I had his toes, I could do that too.”
