(ADP data courtesy of MyFantasyLeague.com; last updated at time of this publishing – ADPs continually change as more drafts occur)

Lawrence has an ADP of 46.90 in redraft leagues, which puts him in the range of the 4th to 5th round, depending on the size of the league. His ADP is lower than his teammates Calvin Ridley (34.45) and Travis Etienne (38.26), though.

Among QBs, Lawrence’s ADP puts him 8th at the position, behind the likes of Justin Fields (Chicago Bears, 37.30) and Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers, 33.94), and ahead of Deshaun Watson (Cleveland Browns, 66.53) and Anthony Richardson (Indianapolis Colts, 72.29).

Where should you draft Lawrence?

Lawrence’s fantasy value should get a huge boost from having Ridley back on the field after a year-long suspension. Ridley has looked incredible in training camp and should be an immediate impact on offense.

The addition of Ridley and just the increased experience of Lawrence will aid his fantasy value. Lawrence ranked as the 6th-best fantasy quarterback from Week 12 to Week 18 last season.

The Jags should be competitive in games this season which should help Lawrence’s numbers as well. He ended with 16 more total TDs and 9 fewer INTs than as a rookie. Expect another jump for the 23-year-old star.

Draft Lawrence after the likes of Fields and Herbert, but do realize his floor is higher than that of Fields and the injury-prone Joe Burrow. His current ADP is a bit much for a quality QB, but don’t let him fall out of the 6th round and feel free to take him in the 1st 2 rounds of 2-QB leagues. He has the potential to be a top-5 QB this season.
