The Giants defeated Carolina, 21-19, Friday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Former Vol wide receiver Jalin Hyatt recoded four receptions, 36 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Hyatt played at Tennessee from 2020-22.
He recorded 108 receptions, 1,769 receiving yards, 19 receiving touchdowns and averaged 16.4 yards per reception with the Vols.
Hyatt is the first Tennessee player to win the Biletnikoff Award. He was a consensus first-team All-American and a first-team All-SEC selection in 2022.
New York next plays Aug. 26 versus the Jets. Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. EDT at MetLife Stadium.
Former Vol Cade Mays did not play in the contest for the Panthers.
