Texas commit Colin Simmons’ social media posts has fans speculating

The top-ranked recruit in Texas’ class may be hinting at more incoming pledges.

This past week Texas landed what many considering one of the most important recruits in program history, five-star edge Colin Simmons.

The Duncanville native is one of the highest ranked recruits ever for Texas, and he is expected to attract more talent to Austin. That is something he appeared to be hinting at on social media on Sunday with a cryptic post of three “Hook’em” emojis.

The post with just three emojis sent Texas fans into a frenzy, speculating who could be next. Texas’ recruiting class ranks 18th in the country, and it is favored for multiple notable recruits, including five-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo, five-star defensive lineman Dominick McKinley and five-star offensive tackle Brandon Baker.
