The NASCAR Cup Series is heading to the Indianapolis Road Course for the Verizon 200 and the stakes are pretty high. The Cup Series only has three more races before the 2023 NASCAR playoffs begin and several drivers are looking to make up significant ground before the regular season finale at Daytona International Speedway.
Chase Elliott, Alex Bowman, and Ty Gibbs are all notable drivers around the playoff bubble and it could creep even higher into the point standings if there is a new winner outside of the top 16 spots.
