As the release of NBA 2K24 draws near, ratings for the highest-rated players have slowly trickled over the last few days.
When Oklahoma City Thunder fans pick up their copy of the latest edition of 2K on Sept. 8, it’ll feature Shai Gilgeous-Alexander starting the game with a 93 overall rating.
This makes Gilgeous-Alexander the 13th-highest-rated player in this year’s game. The guards ahead of him are Steph Curry, Luka Doncic, Jimmy Butler, Devin Booker and Damian Lillard.
The 25-year-old completed his best season; he finished fifth in MVP voting and was an All-NBA first-team member.
In 68 games last season, Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 31.4 points on 51% shooting, 5.5 assists and 4.8 rebounds. He led the Thunder to a surprising 40-42 campaign and finished a win shy of a playoff berth.
