Josh Allen’s injury scare at Bills camp explained

Josh Allen’s injury scare at #Bills camp explained:

Josh Allen gave the Buffalo Bills a scare this week–But things were quickly quelled.

On Monday, Allen exited practice with the training staff with an apparent injury. But it was only a brief stint and the starting quarterback got back out on the field within the next 20 minutes or so.

In fact, Allen reportedly had a pretty strong workout after that.

Still, there’s always an initial worry… and once that is gone, the thought of something potentially lingering creeps into the picture. Evidently, that’s not going to be the case for Allen.

The QB got a clear bill of health from Ken Dorsey, M.D. The offensive coordinator said via video conference on Wednesday that there’s no reason for concern, Allen just had a quick tune up and was good to go.

“As far as I know, he just went in and got stretched out,” Dorsey said. “Came back out, looked good. He felt really good throwing that day. No worries there.”

Last season, Allen dealt with an arm injury during the regular season. He was periodically spotted getting his elbow area stretched out at the start of practices to make sure he was good to go.

Another positive from Allen’s camp scare: Trainers were not looking at his elbow. It appeared to be a lower leg injury, according to The Athletic.

Bills Wire will continue to bring updates throughout training camp.
