The Colorado men’s basketball team is set for a big year with Cody Williams set to take over. The future of the program is bright, especially with the Buffs’ move to the Big 12 coming in 2024.
Head coach Tad Boyle is out there recruiting as always, and the Buffs are in the final two, along with Stanford, for four-star 2024 combo guard Andrew Crawford. Oct. 14 will be decision day for Crawford, and he is planning on visiting both of his top schools sometime in September, per Eric Bossi of 247Sports.
Crawford is a Colorado native from Littleton and is heading into his senior year at ThunderRidge High School as a top 100 recruit for 2024.
The 6-foot-6 prospect revealed why he narrowed it down to the Buffs and Cardinal (h/t 247Sports):
“Colorado for obvious reasons,” Crawford told 247Sports. “They’ve been on me since freshman year and I have to show them a level of respect because that was huge for me. They were on me when nobody else saw the vision and saw what I was going to be so I appreciate them a lot for that. Stanford because Stanford can set me up for life. They are one of the best schools in America and I’d be an idiot to not at least check it out.”
