Three-star cornerback Eli Bowen revealed the final two schools left in his recruitment on Friday.
The Denton (Guyer) product is rated the No. 37 cornerback in the country for the 2024 recruiting class according to 247Sports composite. Within the state of Texas, Bowen ranks as the No. 74 overall recruit.
Texas and Oklahoma will battle to land a commitment from Bowen. Here’s what Bowen told On3 recently regarding his relationship with Steve Sarkisian’s staff.
I got a great connection with them and It’s a brand everyone can recognize around the world. Also, I think they really got something special going there and I’m excited to see it unfold.
In 2022, Bowen recorded 35 tackles, six pass breakups and two forced fumbles for Guyer High School. Eli’s older brother, Peyton, is currently a defensive back for Oklahoma.
