Dalton Kincaid is fitting right in, according to Josh Allen.
Throughout the first week of what is essentially his NFL career, the first-round rookie tight end has impressed numerous onlookers. The word used to describe him by many at training camp is “consistent.”
Among those that like what they see is Allen.
The quarterback said it’s so far, so good, for his new first-year playmaker.
“I love the kid–He’s smart, he’s instinctive,” Allen said via video conference. “I feel no moment is too big for him. He understands his role in the offense.”
Early in training camp, Kincaid cited the reason why he thinks he’s having early successes this summer. The credit went to his QB.
“It helps [that] he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the league,” Kincaid said. “It makes my job a lot easier. I just got to catch the ball and be in the right spot for him. He’s very creative and crafty in the things he does.”
The relationship many in Buffalo were hoping would develop at St. John Fisher looks to be right on schedule.
