WATCH: Chiefs WR Skyy Moore mic’d up at training camp practice

Wide receiver Skyy Moore gave the #Chiefs’ social media team plenty of good content when he was mic’d up at a recent training camp practice.

Skyy Moore has been among the Kansas City Chiefs’ top performers at training camp in St. Joseph and recently wore a microphone during workouts to give fans some perspective on how the team’s players interact during their grueling practice sessions.

A video of Moore’s “mic’d up” appearance was posted to Twitter by Kansas City’s social media team on the Chiefs’ official page.

The second-year receiver let his teammates know about the hidden recording device, and took it upon himself to get a fresh haircut for the occasion.

“They told me I was mic’d up,” Moore said to teammates in the humorous clip, “I went and got chopped.”

All players, but Moore in particular, can be seen having an exceptionally fun time during the sweltering practice session. For his part, Moore kept his energy high, playing to the camera with casual dances between repetitions in drills and interacting with his teammates through the duration of the day’s workouts.

Moore will look to take on an expanded role in head coach Andy Reid’s offense next season as he seeks statistical improvement after his rookie campaign. In his first year with the Chiefs, Moore had 22 receptions for 250 yards in the regular season but proved to be a crucial contributor in Kansas City’s playoff run to Super Bowl LVII wherein he caught five passes for 17 yards and scored a touchdown on the NFL’s biggest stage.
