There have been more than a few analysts who have been critical of the Boston Celtics‘ decision to sign All-NBA forward Jaylen Brown to a historic supermax contract extension, a five-year deal worth a staggering $304 million, making him the highest-paid player in the history of the NBA.

Brown is a good player but not the number one guy on the team, and the contract’s large size raises concern about the Georgia native’s ability to handle the pressure and expectations. His 3-point shooting has regressed, but he excels in mid-range and transition play; can Brown expand his game enough to silence the critics?
