Injuries are normal occurrences during training camp and the Minnesota Vikings are not exempt from them. During his press availability on Saturday, head coach Kevin O’Connell told the media that wide receiver Jalen Nailor sustained a “contact leg injury” and is day-to-day.
“[He] sustained a contact leg injury on a clean play on a competitive ball in the air. He’s day to day. We’re hoping to turn him over and have him pretty ready to roll here hopefully early next week. Jalen’s doing really well.”
This explains his mysterious absence from practice on Thursday and Friday. Thankfully, it sounds like a bruise of some sort, as the contact would insinuate.
