Isaac Seumalo’s departure in free agency left a massive hole in the middle of the NFL’s top offensive line, but GM Howie Roseman has several notable replacements in place.
Nick Sirianni talked during the offseason about the looming right guard competition.
On Wednesday, he confirmed that second-year center Cam Jurgens would get the first shot over Tyler Steen.
Cam Jurgens is going to get the first crack at right guard, Nick Sirianni said.

Jurgens was drafted to eventually be the successor to Jason Kelce at the center position, but he’ll spend this season competing for the right guard spot.
A 23-year-old second-year center who’s played 44 career snaps, Jurgens didn’t play much as a rookie, but he’s shown dominant traits when inserted into the lineup.
