Texas A&M’s 2024 recruiting class is essentially a wide receiver factory with the recent additions of five-star Cam Coleman and the trio of four-star receivers, including Drelon Miller, Jaylan Hornsby, Debron Gatling, and Earnest Campbell.
With the annual Aggies recruiting pool party set to take place this coming weekend, 2024 5-star ATH/WR Terry Bussey, one of the country’s most talented and productive high school players, is returning to College Station for his second visit this summer since June 9. Earlier this month, rumors regarding the potential visitor list for the pool party were released, which included Bussey, whose confirmation is beyond excellent news as he is coming off consecutive visits to LSU and Oklahoma.
According to On3’s Industry Rankings, Bussey is the 2nd-ranked athlete in the class, and the 5th-ranked player in Texas, as his incredible stat line from his 2022 junior season at Timpson High School in Timpson, Texas, throwing for 2,177 yards and 26 touchdowns with a 64% completion percentage as the starting quarterback while rushing for 2,596 yards and 46 touchdowns with a 14-yard per rush average. Bussey recorded over 115 tackles and five interceptions as a two-way player, with four returned for touchdowns as a defensive back.

Bussey is being recruited by Aggies’ defensive backs coach TJ Rushing and defensive assistant Bryant Gross-Armiento as a cornerback. Still, due to his elite ability on offense, I wouldn’t be surprised if discussions surrounding a role at wide receiver are being discussed. Bussey will join several other elite 2024 prospects this week as the final visitor list is nearing completion.
