Aside from being one of the best offensive minds in college football, Lane Kiffin may be the best follow of any coach on social media.
The Ole Miss head coach is renowned for his high octane offenses, clipboard throwing celebrations, and an unfortunate experience on the tarmac. He’s also one of the biggest instigators on Twitter.
Kiffin isn’t shy about expressing what he believes, and will even refute reports that he believes aren’t true. On Monday, Kiffin was back to his hilarious antics on social media as he found a very unique license plate.
After seeing a plate from the state of Oklahoma that read “SILENCE”, Kiffin took a picture and uploaded it to Twitter while tagging Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian. While the tweet didn’t specifically name anything that Kiffin was trying to reference, the consensus appears to be that he is poking fun at the fact that Texas blew Oklahoma out 49-0 this past season.

Surely someone will ask him what he meant at SEC media days on Thursday, but knowing Kiffin there’s no telling what he will say. Kiffin and Sarkisian have crossed paths a few times as they were both on Pete Carrollâs staff at USC, and both ended up working at Alabama where Sarkisian replaced Kiffin as the offensive coordinator after he accepted the FAU job.
The two will soon become conference foes with Texas making the jump to the SEC in 2024.
