Four-star linebacker Edwin Spillman will announce his commitment on July 21.
Tennessee and Ohio State are Spillman’s two finalists.
The 6-foot-1, 220-pound linebacker is from Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, Tennessee.
Spillman is the No. 300 prospect and No. 28 linebacker in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 2 linebacker and No. 7 player in Tennessee, according On3 industry rankings.
The 2024 prospect recorded 101 tackles, 14.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks and six pass breakups as a junior. He earned MaxPreps Junior All-American honors and was a first-team All-State selection.
Spillman’s high school teammate, four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley, committed to the Vols on Oct. 21, 2022. His brother, wide receiver Nate Spillman, signed with Tennessee last year.
The Vols are a projected leader in Spillman’s recruitment, according to On3 RPM.
