Texas A&M’s 2024 recruiting momentum ride has been a fun one to cover this offseason, as the Aggies’ have added eight prospects since June 22, surging their 16-player cycle to a Top 10 ranking, as Jimbo Fisher and his staff aren’t slowing down one bit.
This week, 2024, four-star athlete Jalewis Solomon, who recently placed Texas A&M in his Top 5 program list, has announced his commitment date, which will take place on Saturday, August 5.
According to 247Sports Composite ratings, Solomon is currently positioned as the 17th-ranked Athlete and the 29th-ranked player in Georgia. Entering his final senior season at Schley High School in Ellaville, Georgia, Solomon’s speed and versatility helped him reel in 86 receptions for 1,210 yards and ten touchdowns while recording 29 tackles, four PBU, and three interceptions on defense during his 2022 junior season.

In competing with Auburn, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Florida State, Solomons’ likely permanent position at wide receiver combined with Texas A&M’s elite 2024 wide receiver class made up of Cameron Coleman, Drelon Miller, Jaylan Hornsby, and Debron Gatling could prove to be too enticing to pass up joining.
