After picking up some steam in late June on the recruiting trail, Texas has started off the month of July with a bang.
The Longhorns nabbed a commitment from four-star wide receiver Parker Livingstone on Saturday, and added to their class with three-star defensive lineman Alex January shortly after.
The Duncanville product announced via Twitter that he is committed to the University of Texas.

Standing at 6-foot-4, 325-pounds, January held nearly 30 offers. He chose Texas over programs such as Florida State, Texas Tech, and LSU. His father, Mike January, played linebacker at Texas back in the 80s.
January is also teammates with five-star EDGE Colin Simmons, who the Longhorns are viewed as the favorites to land. January ranks as the No. 63 player in the country.
