Texas receives crystal ball prediction to land five-star WR Ryan Wingo

Steve Wiltfong sees Texas as the favorite for five-star WR Ryan Wingo.

Texas is in good position with another five-star talent.

Over the last two weeks, the Longhorns have emerged as the favorite for five-star edge Colin Simmons and five-star cornerback Kobe Black. Now, they’re emerging as the leader for five-star receiver Ryan Wingo.

Steve Wiltfong, 247Sports’ director of football recruiting, entered a crystal ball prediction for Wingo in favor of Texas on Thursday. Wiltfong doesn’t often submit a prediction unless he’s fairly confident in the outcome.

Wingo is rated the No. 2 wide receiver in the country for the 2024 recruiting class and the No. 2 overall prospect in Missouri, according to 247Sports.
