Texas hosted some of the top talent in the 2024 class over the past weekend for official visits, and one of the visitors was top-priority wide receiver Parker Livingstone.
The Lovejoy (TX) product has long been viewed as one of the best receivers in the class and may be one of the more underrated recruits. In an interview with 247Sports, Livingstone raved about his trip to Austin expressing it was even better than what he and his family were expecting.
“It was outstanding. My family and I enjoyed our time and enjoyed the hospitality the coaching staff and school showed us. We loved every minute of it and it was a great experience and a great time.”
He also spoke highly of his hosts Michael Taaffe, Colton Vasek and Arch Manning and how helpful they were in the process.
“They were just saying how everyone has bought into the program. It’s not how it has been in the past. They are trying to win a national championship this year and it was great to hear their side of it from a player and not a coach. They were just telling me how close they are, and how it’s a brotherhood, and how you’re working for the person next to you.”
Livingstone expects to make his decision on July 1, and for Texas they currently hold four crystal ball predictions in their favor. He ranks as the No. 294 player in the country, No. 45 wide receiver, and the No. 17 player in the state of Texas. He’s racked up nearly 40 offers from programs such as South Carolina, Arkansas, and LSU among many others.
