The recruiting battle between Lincoln Riley and Dan Lanning continues, and the latest round went to the USC Trojans.
On Monday afternoon, four-star wide receiver Ryan Pellum committed to the Trojans over the Oregon Ducks. That wasn’t a major surprise since the blue-chip pass-catcher canceled his official visit to Eugene not long after taking his one to USC.
A number of recruiting predictions came in since; all projected Pellum to the Trojans.
Pellum is rated by 247Sports as the No. 69 overall player in the 2024 class, and No. 14 WR. He is a great pick-up for USC, which moved into the No. 8 spot of the national recruiting rankings with the pickup, one spot behind the Ducks.
