The Oregon Ducks and USC Trojans will find out in the coming days if they are able to land one of the top remaining wide receivers in the 2024 class.
4-star WR Ryan Pellum announced over the weekend that he will officially make his commitment on June 26, with a final two of the Ducks and Trojans. While it is technically a two-man race to land the WR, there is an overwhelming feeling that USC will be the ultimate destination.
Earlier in June, Pellum took an official visit to Los Angeles, and was schedule to take an OV to Eugene the week after. However, following his trip to USC, Pellum ended up canceling his visit to Oregon, so the Ducks did not get a chance to make their pitch. This has led several recruiting insiders to log predictions for the Trojans to land the player from Millikan High School in Long Beach, California.
Pellum is rated by 247Sports as the No. 14 WR and No. 69 overall player in the 2024 class.
