As a quarterback, it’s not just about throwing to open receivers, it’s about anticipating receivers getting open and [autotag]Notre Dame[/autotag] commit [autotag]CJ Carr[/autotag] has shown those qualities.
In a recent tweet by Reel Analytics, an AI-powered sports tech and data company that analyzes video which measures athleticism, they highlighted a certain skill set of Carr’s.
The 6-foot, 3-inch and 195 pound Carr, who is ranked as the 6th best quarterback and 47th overall player in the country by the 247Sports composite, showed on tape elite instincts for seeing a receiver that hasn’t gotten open yet.
It’s an extremely important trait to possess and Irish fans should be extremely excited about that part of the skill set that Carr possesses. Check out the video below as Reel Analytics breaks down Carr’s anticipatory throwing skills.
